Privacy Policy

The short version: FlaconKeep is local-first. Your fragrances, bottles, wear log, collection, wishlist, photos and every other record you keep stay on your device. We have no account system and no server that stores your data.
What we collect
FlaconKeep has no sign-up and no user account. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or any of the content you save in the app. That content never leaves your device except through actions you take yourself — for example, a backup or export you choose to save or share, or an iCloud Drive backup you turn on.
Diagnostics (optional)
To find and fix crashes, the app can send anonymous diagnostic reports. This is on by default; you can turn it off at any time in Settings → About → Crash diagnostics. A report contains only: the app and its version, your platform (e.g. iOS / Android) and OS version, and the error type, message and stack trace. It includes no device identifier, no user identifier, and none of your fragrances, wear log, photos, or other records. Reports go to two recipients, both controlled by that single toggle:
- A Cloudflare Worker operated by Trueframe Digital — receives the report above; your IP address is discarded at ingestion and never stored.
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), running in the EU / Frankfurt region — a crash-diagnostics processor that adds native-crash and crash-free-rate visibility. It receives the crash stack, device/OS info, and an anonymous crash-free session status (not tied to any person or stable device/user identifier). We run it in a privacy-minimal mode: no IP or personal-data collection, no user identity, no behavioural or performance tracking. EU data residency. See the Sentry privacy policy.
When diagnostics are off, neither recipient receives anything.
Camera & photos
If you add a photo of a bottle, the app asks for camera or photo-library access. This is used only for the action you take, and the resulting photos are stored on your device. App Lock, if you enable it, uses your device’s Face ID / Touch ID / passcode and never leaves the device.
Backups (optional)
You can create a full backup whenever you choose. On Apple devices you can save it to your own iCloud Drive, and on any platform you can save it to a folder you pick. Backups are created only when you ask for one, they go to the location you choose, and they are never sent to us — we have no server that receives them.
Purchases
FlaconKeep Pro is a one-time purchase made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store. Payment is processed entirely by the store; Trueframe Digital never sees or stores your payment details. Your purchase is verified on your device against your store receipt — we use no third-party purchase-tracking service, and no purchase identifier is sent to us. Restoring your purchase on a new device is handled by the store.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data, and there are no advertising SDKs or third-party behavioural-tracking SDKs in the app. The only information that ever leaves your device is the optional crash diagnostics described above. Store purchase processing is handled by the app store under its own policies.
Your control & deletion
Because your data is stored locally, you are in full control of it. You can delete any fragrance, bottle or record from within the app, or remove everything by deleting the app from your device. Any backups you created — including iCloud Drive backups — are managed by you in the location you saved them.
Children
FlaconKeep is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
